If your search engine remains on the welcome screen after attempting to log in, please check to see if your system clock (date/time/year) is correct. If you are redirected to an access error page, please make sure your caps lock is off since the password and email address are case-sensitive. Is the skills profile different to a resume?
The information available on Workub is structured in the form of skills profiles, based on the HR classification and appraisal system widely used around the world and recognized by the Skills Management System. The skills profile classifies and evaluates human resources according to knowledge, competence and attitude also known as Knowledge, Know-How and Know-About. - Knowledge is theoretical information, what we learn in schools, in universities, in the workplace. - Know-How are the technical and professional skills, practices and experiences, the ability to perform operations. - Know-About characterizes attitudes, personal qualities, values, interests, motivation, characteristics of cooperation and relationship. A skills profile is different to a resumé, as it presents structured and objective information, subject to continued and comparative evaluation, identifying professional capacities and personal characteristics and thus allowing further career development. |

Is Workub free to professionals?
Professionals can, totally free of charge, perform the following: - Create one or more skills profile in different activities; - Communicate their availability, by advertising to companies that they are looking for a job; - Communicate business opportunities between Workub users. How can I describe my knowledge and know-how in my skills profile?
Workub provides a form in which each professional may characterize his/her skills in terms of knowledge and know-how. The veracity of this information may be substantiated at a later date by personal interview or by submitting additional information to the companies that require it. |

How is my attitude/know-about evaluated in my skills profile?
Cross-skills (attitude/know-about) are applicable to everyone and allow the identification of personal characteristics, character and attitude. On Workub, the professional does not define his/her own cross-skills. Instead, an average result is taken from five evaluations provided by five persons known to the professional. These five contributors are invited to participate by email and have 5 days in which to make their appraisal. The cross-skills are established by ten questions, each with six levels: Always / Very often / Often / Sometimes / Rarely / Never. The person invited to evaluate the professional's cross-skills must attribute three classifications of "Often" and a maximum of two classifications of "Always" - this ensures candidness and differentiation. The professional will only see the average result; never each individual classification, which facilitates and encourages honesty and frankness. |

As a professional, can I guarantee that my information will be kept confidential?
Yes. You can ensure (optionally) that companies, when purchasing access to your skills profile, will never have direct access to your personal details, including name and contact information. When a company shows interest in your profile, Workub will send you a notification email to which it will be your responsibility to respond. Companies will know which profiles are confidential and will be able to choose not to notify you, of any opportunity for professional collaboration. |

Am I allowed to promote my company on Workub through adverts?
Yes. The adverts on Workub permit to publicize each company activity and its products and services to thousands of registered users. Workub permits the communication between registered professionals and companies through the sending of emails. Everyday, emails are sent to companies with presentations of professionals, business opportunities, inter-company communication, communications from companies to professionals and Workub’s own communication to users. Each email has a body text reserved for the different messages and a footnote banner reserved for adverts. These adverts are image banners inserted by the user and are duly identified as adverts. We recommend width 650px and height 60px or width 650px and height 120 px, being the latter the maximum size allowed on the platform. To place an advert, simply go to Advertise and create a campaign that can have one or more adverts. Each advert has an image banner and a personalised segmentation, thus guaranteeing that a specific banner is only inserted in emails sent to a specific market segment. Through segmentation you can, e. g., create an image banner that will only be shown to unemployed architects and designers living in USA and with ages between 20 and 30 years. The image of an advert can be modified at any time and without additional costs. For example, if you have an advert which is activated for one month, you can begin with an image and, after 15 days, you can modify it without creating a new advert. What are Workub credits?
Credits are Workub's currency. They can be acquired in packages of 25, 50, 100, 250 or 500 units, each package being the equivalent to a monetary value in Euros or USD. Purchasing credits in bulk makes a saving, due to the quanity discount included in the price. Credits will be deducted from the existing balance by the Workub site at the time of services purchase. Workub credits are valid for 1 year from the date of purchase.

Are the credit purchase receipts and transaction history available?
Yes. A valid transaction receipt is generated and sent to you at each purchase. The credit purchase receipts and transaction history are available for viewing after logging in to your account, in the sidebar menu, through the link "Credits History”. |

Where did my credits go?
Workub credits are used up any time you purchase a professional profile or any time you post an advert. Workub credits expire 1 year after the purchase date; you will be sent notification 30 days before the deadline. |
